Pixelbook Go, a Thin and Light Chromebook Officialy Released
Google introduces its new notebook called Pixelbook Go. Offers a thin and lightweight device.
Pixelbook Go has a thickness of 13 mm. While its weight is less than 1 kg.
This notebook is the successor to the Pixelbook laptop that Google released two years ago, but with a much lower price tag. Pixelbook Go has a 13.3-inch touch screen. The screen has a default resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 and can be upgraded to 4K, but with extra fees.
Launching the Cnet news that saw firsthand the form of Pixelbook Go, the design is clean and is said to be somewhat similar to Microsoft’s MacBook Air or Surface.
The body is wrapped in magnesium and has a fairly broad touch pad.
The underside is not flat, but has a grippy pattern similar to a wavy line. Its function is to hold the laptop so that it does not easily shift when placed on the table.
There are two colors to choose from, namely “Just Black” or completely black and “Not Pink” which is actually pink but more dominantly a mixture of white.
This notebook is equipped with a USB C as a charger connector. With USB C, charging for 20 minutes is claimed to be equivalent to charging for 2 hours. Google also brags that the battery can last for 12 hours when fully charged.
for specifications, Google relies on future-generation Intel processors, including M3, Core i5, and Core i7 with 64 GB to 256 GB of internal memory, as well as two 8 GB and 16 GB RAM options. The Google Pixelbook Go laptop can also be used to access Android applications as well as additional Google Play Pass subscription service offers.
Pixelbook Go starts from $ 650 for the Intel Core M3 variant (8GB / 64GB). The Core i7 variant (16GB. 256GB SSD) is priced at $ 1,399.
